ASHE @ UD will be having its first general meeting of the fall 2011 semester today (Tuesday 9/20/2011) at 5:30PM in 302 DuPont. Attendance is mandatory for all members. This month’s dinner meeting with the First State Section is especially important to ASHE @ UD members. On the 29th, we will be hosting our annual BBQ dinner meeting at White Clay Creek park. This is a great opportunity to make new connections not only with other ASHE @ UD members but also with the professional members in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Scholarship awards will also be presented to many ASHE @ UD members.
Cost is only $10 per member. Transportation can be arranged. Please RSVP by 9/21/2011 with Mike Kelly. Hope to see you there!

My name is Ryan Barton and I am the current President of ASHE or The American Society of Highway Engineers. We are a student chapter of engineers interested in anything and everything about the highway industry. While many of us are civil engineers all majors are welcome to join! Freshmen, are you Unsure about what type of engineering to pursue? Come out and learn about what the different options by talking to one of our more then 30 Active Members! We know its a difficult decision but the best way to make it is to get informed!
