Amtrak Trip to NYC!

We’re going to New York City for our next ASHE trip!

This is a great opportunity to ride the Northeast Corridor in an entirely new way:  In Amtrak’s Geometry Car that monitors track gauges, superelevation, and more!  PLUS we will be stopping in Manhattan to eat, shop, and walk around the city.

We will be leaving campus on Friday, March 8th at 10am (the tentative date of the trip), and expect to return to campus around 6:30pm that evening.

Spring Career Fair

TOMORROW, Wednesday, February 27th, UD’s Career Service Center will be hosting the Spring Career Fair, for one day only, at the Bob Carpenter Center from 12:00 to 3:30pm.  The fair is open to all students, with job opportunities spanning all majors, including engineering.

Scholarship Program

Below is the application for this year’s Fred Mueller Memorial Scholarship program sponsored by ASHE First State.  All those who meet the requirements are strongly encouraged to apply!  This is NOT just another national scholarship you may feel you have no shot at!  There will be winners from the student section!

First Field Trip Details! DelDOT’s TMC

This Monday, February 18th, we will be taking a tour of DelDOT’s Traffic Management Center.  Transportation is provided, and we’ll be meeting behind DuPont Hall at 3:30pm.

SPACE IS LIMITED!!!  You must email Kelly Fearon at klfearon@udel.edu by 4pm this Friday, February 15th if you are able to come.  Any questions can be addressed to Kelly!
