Welcome to ASHE @ UD!

The University of Delaware’s Student Section of the American Society of Highway Engineers (ASHE @ UD) is a Registered Student Organization on the Newark campus.

Our mission is to provide an atmosphere of communication, education, and fellowship for our members.  ASHE @ UD’s membership is made up of students with interests in all aspects of the highway industry.  Although many of our members are Civil Engineering majors, all students are welcome to join ASHE.

The highway industry is actually broader than you may imagine.  Everyone from mechanical engineers to finance majors and all those in between can find a place in this business (Remember: we visit projects that cost millions, even billions, of dollars!).

Due to our close ties with the ASHE First State Section and other industry professionals, we have the opportunity to host and attend many interesting events and trips every semester all around the area.
