About Me

You’ve found yourself on my personal blog, where I writes on various topics and my personal life. Congratulations!

I am a 2019 graduate from the University of Delaware, where I double majored in Economics and Political Science, and minored in Sustainable Infrastructure. Prior, I graduated in 2015 from Cape Henlopen High School in Lewes, Delaware, where I grew up. My interests range from innovation, economics, global politics, U.S. politics, the sciences, and personal growth.

My work experiences include summer internships with the U.S. Senate, both being with the Senators from Delaware. I was also a college tour guide, a club sports treasurer, in charge of a powerful environmental group in college, and worked on a technology startup through his college’s Office of Economic Innovation. I am currently working as a Jr. Research Analyst for a Philadelphia-area law firm’s Securities Division, specializing in financial research. (more information about these experiences is on my LinkedIn).

In my spare time, I work out, surf, swim, fish, read, and travel. Feel free to contact meĀ  at amahdi1128@hotmail.com or at my professional Twitter @TheAliMahdi.
