Bryan Sutherland
Bio: Bryan grew up in Phoenixville, PA and received his B.S. and M.S. in Materials Science and Engineering from Drexel University in 2014. After undergrad he pursued a Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering at the University of Delaware working under the advisement of Dr. Christopher Kloxin where he worked on developing high efficiency DNA analogues, new chemistries for forming polymer networks, and peptide conjugation strategies. Currently, Bryan is a postdoctoral researcher in the Chemical Engineering department at the University of Delaware.
Research Interests: Bryan is working on developing a synthetic tissue model to study the onset and progression of fibrosis.
Fun Facts: In his spare time Bryan enjoys playing golf poorly, winning board games, and binge watching Dr. Who.
