ELI Launches New Communications Tools for Agents

Communication

The ELI is launching a new website and an e-newsletter meant just for its agents!

This fall, the ELI is launching two important new communication tools for its overseas partners:

  • The ELI Agent Portal
  • The ELI-Agent Express e-newsletter

The ELI Agent Portal

The purpose of the website is to act as a quick reference resource for educational counselors, giving them easy access to tools to help students to choose the program that is right for them. This includes grouping programs together by theme (i.e., Academic English vs. professional programs vs. summer programs for teenagers, etc.), as well as access to videos and brochures in various languages.

Agents will also have access to urgent news and announcements from the ELI via the website’s “News and Updates” page by completing the “Subscribe by Email” box on the left side of the web page.

The ELI-Agent Express e-Newsletter

For many years, the ELI has published a weekly e-newsletter for its students called the Orientation Express, which provides students with important program information and announcements about upcoming events and activities. This is the student’s most important tool for keeping updated about all ELI news.

Following this tradition, the ELI is launching the ELI-Agent Express e-newsletter for its overseas agents. The ELI-Agency Express will contain:

  • important news about new ELI programs;
  • announcements about important dates and deadlines;
  • data about student nationalities; and
  • information about important ELI initiatives.

The ELI-Agent Express will be sent to agents on a regular basis, typically once per session or per quarter.

It is our hope that these new tools will provide our partners with easy-to-access tools that facilitates their work with students and clients. For more information about either tool, contact Nadia Redman at nredman@udel.edu.
