Thomas Buchanan awarded 2008 E.A. Trabant Award for Women’s Equity

NSF Grant for Retaining Women Faculty Thomas Buchanan, professor of mechanical engineering and ADVANCE team member, has been awarded the 2008 E.A. Trabant Award for Women’s Equity .The award was established in recognition of UD President Emeritus E. Arthur Trabant’s support for women’s equity and is given by the President’s Commission on the Status of Women (PCSW) each year to an individual, department, administrative unit or committee that has contributed to the equity of women at UD.
