Thursday, October 31, 2013 – John L. Weinberg Distinguished Speaker Series

The John L. Weinberg Center is honored to have John S. Weinberg, Vice Chairman of Goldman Sachs, coming to speak at the University of Delaware as part of this speaker series.  Mr. Weinberg has been a Vice Chairman of Goldman Sachs since June 2006. He has been co-head of Goldman Sachs’ Investment Banking Division since December 2002. From January 2002 to December 2002, he was co-head of the Investment Banking Division in the Americas. Prior to that, he served as co-head of the Investment Banking Services Department since 1997. The program will be held in the morning.  More details will follow.

Delaware Law Issues Update Conference

The Society of Corporate Secretaries & Governance Professionals and The John L. Weinberg Center for Corporate Governance at the University of Delaware are pleased to announce a new conference they will co-sponsor which will focus on Delaware corporate law issues essential to corporate secretaries, in- house and outside counsel.  The conference will be held at the University of Delaware in Newark, Delaware on Wednesday, November 20, 2013 through noon on Thursday, November 21.
