University Finance Office

The University Finance Office is responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of University financial policies and procedures with emphasis on chart of accounts, accounting systems, financial reporting, and financial controls.

We maintain the official accounting records and related systems of internal control in accordance with the accounting standards set by the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB), University policy and procedures, the requirements of federal and state government agencies, and external funding sources.  Additionally, we are responsible for the accounting of the University’s endowment portfolio and other investments, debt portfolio, and the capitalization and depreciation of University assets.

University Finance is also responsible for federal fiscal compliance in the areas of indirect cost and service centers, as well as compliance with federal and state tax regulations.
