As a Delaware resident, Laura Koffenberger knew the University of Delaware had a very good reputation, and it was important to her to remain in close proximity to her family. She came to UD as an undeclared student because she didn’t know which major to choose and wanted to take classes in many different subject areas.
Laura declared her major in Accounting in the fall of junior year after researching various majors and taking UNIV117: Navigating Your Academic Path. She found the class helpful because it provided structured time each week to determine which majors best suited her. Academic advisor and UST peer liaison coordinator Sharon Grayson said Laura has been a real asset to the program. She will definitely be missed when she graduates this spring.
