The UD Professional and Continuing Studies SAT course is an intensive test prep program that provides students with the tools they need to prepare for and ace the SAT exam. The condensed one-week format is a convenient way for students to develop essential test-taking skills and tools. Students are provided with an in-depth review of the exam materials, insight into strategies for succeeding on standardized tests, and a comprehensive study plan.

Students generally take the SAT during their junior year of high school.

The SAT workshops include:

  • 16-20 hours of expert classroom instruction—two course formats available—
    • SAT Summer Institute: weekday sessions aimed at students’ summer schedules (20 hours)
    • SAT Blitz: concentrated program, timed for upcoming SAT administration dates (16 hours)
  • 4 hours of live online review prior to upcoming exam dates
  • Course Textbook: The Official SAT Study Guide – Second Edition
  • Course Workbook
  • Easy-to-follow study plan

This course is ideal for:

  • Rising juniors that may be taking the test for the first time
  • Any high school students who have already taken the exam but wish to improve their score

*Students who sign up for this course should be dedicated to attending the 4 continuous Saturday workshops, if you do not believe you can attend all of the Saturday workshops then this program is not for you. 

Cost of course:

  • Delaware residents—With the 10% Delaware resident discount, the cost is $404.
  • A Scholarship may be completed to cover the cost of the course SAT Prep Scholarship Application
    • A limited number of need-based scholarships are available for first-generation college students. In order to qualify for this scholarship:
      • Student must be a first-generation college student
      • Student has substantial verified financial need (review applicable federal income criteria)
      • Student demonstrates good academic standing, at the high school or college they are attending
