Veronica Eid
Veronica’s beautiful and generous spirit has reached around the globe. She has inspired people near and far with her enthusiasm and capability. What she has accomplished in one lifetime, would require several lifetimes for most.
Veronica’s language skills (French, Japanese, Spanish, and Italian) have been shared through teaching in many venues, including Ursuline Academy, the University of Delaware, the International School of Geneva, Todai Fuzoku School in Japan, Tower Hill School, Del Tech College, the International Women’s Club of Wilmington and more.
Veronica has co-founded and/or served on the board of many organizations such as Alliance Francaise, International Women’s Club, Delaware Council for International Visitors, the UDWC, Delaware Chamber Music Festival, Distant Voices Touring Theatre, Power Up Gambia, Delaware Humanities Council, and others too numerous to mention. " In her role as grandmother, she has traveled to Switzerland, Thailand, and North Carolina to be with her grandkids. How fortunate are the Eid's three children and four grandchildren to have such a mother and grandmother. How fortunate are we to have such a compassionate, gracious and gifted friend!
