Dr. Domenico Grasso has been UD’s provost since January, 2013.  Previously, he was the Univ. of Vermont’s Vice President for Research and Dean of the Graduate College, and Dean of the College of Engineering and Mathematical Sciences.  He holds a  B.S. (Worcester Polytechnic Institute), M.S. (Purdue Univ.) and Ph.D. (Univ of Michigan).
Before joining UVM, Dr. Grasso was Rosemary Bradford Hewlett Professor and Founding Director of the Picker Engineering Program at Smith College, and Professor and Head of Department in Civil & Environmental Engineering at the Univ. of Connecticut. He has been a NATO Fellow and an Invited Technical Expert to the United Nations Industrial Development Organization in Vienna. He is currently Editor-in-Chief of Environmental Engineering Science, and has served as Vice Chair of the United States EPA’s Science Advisory Board, and held other national leadership roles. Author of more than 100 journal papers and reports, including four chapters and three books, his research has been supported by federal, state and industrial organizations. 

Checks ($19 per luncheon attendee) payable to the University of Delaware are due at the door. No cash nor credit/debit cards, please! Without a reservation, seating is not guaranteed. The absolute deadline for registrations is Wednesday, May 17, 2017, which is also the final date for canceling a reservation without charge. Be sure to note any dietary restrictions (vegetarian, vegan, gluten free, etc.) in the Comments box on the form.
