Hello friends!

This year in an effort to keep you guys informed – and to occasionally spare you from the clutter of your email inboxes – we are going to try to maintain our official TWS website. We will post general reminders, trip information, and volunteer opportunities in order to keep everyone updated on the wildlife world, both at school and at large! You will still receive your minutes via email, but this is a nice way to consolidate everything else for you. We hope this helps everyone stay in touch and engaged. And, as always, we are open to any suggestions from our members. We are always looking to improve.

Thanks a lot, everyone! We’re looking forward to a great year with The Wildlife Society!

The Wildlife Society E-Board

Hey wildlifers!

If you missed this weeks’ meeting head over to the minutes section to catch up. Some of the highlights were that Craig Rhodes from the Delaware Fish & Wildlife stopped by to share his story with us and some helpful information regarding the wildlife job market today and what he as an employer looks for.

There are some fun activities coming up this month. One most notably being the Ag Carnival being on Saturday October 22nd from 12-4pm. Anyone from the club can sign up! We have 6 people signed up already and can have 4 more people.

The next meeting will be on October 19th at 6:15pm in Townsend Hall.

As most of you know, we’ve started a new semester and the Wildlife Society is gearing up for some new and exciting things! We just had our meeting of the year this past Wed. If you missed it, look under the minutes category to catch up. The officers have a lot of fun stuff planned this semester along with some very interesting new speakers.

Want to be added to the email list? Just shoot me an email at wlosinsk@udel.edu and you’ll easily be added so you can be kept up to date on everything happening with the club.

Our next meeting is going to be on Sept 21st at 6:15pm in 233 Townsend Hall, aka the Fishbowl where we’ll have Cryus from the Ashland Nature Center give an interesting talk to help us gear up for our upcoming trip to the Nature Center on October 1st. The time will be announced shortly.

Hope to see you all at the next meeting!

Alyssa Wlosinski

Wildlife Secretary

It has been such a great year for the Wildlife Society and to be a part of it all. We are so happy that we got a chance to work with all of you and had a great time venturing through conclave, birding, zoo trips, and UD events with all of you. Thank you again to all of you who made this year so great!

Congratulations to Holley, Devon, Alyssa and Becca on becoming the next e-board tonight! We know you’ll do a great job next year.

Thank you again and good luck with the rest of your time being part of TWS at UD!

Amanda and Jamie

Welcome Wildlifers!

It may be the end of the year, but that doesn’t mean we aren’t bringing you new things. This is our new website where we’ll be able to keep you updated on the minutes, activities, events, and projects going on throughout the year. We can also post pictures from our events so everyone can see what we’ve been doing.

I hope you’re all excited. Hopefully it will be a great way to bring down some of that inbox clutter and get everyone involved.

Your President,

Amanda
