There is a new scam using a fake Bank of America URL, and it has been reported at the University. Everything about this message, from the typos to the inconsistencies, warns you that it’s fake.

The URL starts out with wwv, not www. Then, bank is abbreviated to “bnk” and America is spelled wrong (the r and the i are switched). Lastly, the URL appears to end with .com, like usual, but actually ends with .com-gsuhk.review.184id.net.

Always verify the spelling and origin of links before clicking. Do not click on links with typos, especially links that are not consistent with typical website URLs. If you receive an email like this one, delete it and do not click on the link.
