This phishing scam was reported to us today. It uses an old-school method to get someone to surrender their account and password: It asks you to reply to the message with your information–including typing your password twice to confirm it. We used to see a lof of this style scam in the 1990’s and 2000’s. But we’re all too smart to fall for it now, right?

The grammar alone should tip you off that it’s a scam. Unfortunately, our experience is that at least one person will follow the scammer’s instructions and send along his password and credentials.

No reputable organization will ever ask you to submit your password via email.
