Sussex County 4-H Public Speaking Contest

The titles are in and they sure look exciting!  This is a spectacular 4-H event and so interesting to attend, even if you are not competing! Thanks to everyone who has worked, volunteered and practiced to make this event one of the all time favorites in the 4-H calendar!

New this year is an “Extemporaneous” category, where members speak  with little or no  preparation!  While the judges deliberate, attendees of this popular event gather together for fellowship,  refreshments provided by the contestants and some “on screen” entertainment!  Hope to see you there! We can’t wait to see the great topics you will be sharing in February!

Avian Bowl training

The Feb. 14 training date has been postponed due to a scheduling conflict with Dr. Brigid McCrea. Those who have signed up for the training will be notified and new training dates will be announced via email, the Sussex County 4-H website, and our Facebook feed. Stay tuned!
