Social Responsibility

Student Life helps you recognize shared ethical values within our community, establish congruence between values and behaviors as well as their impact, develop an awareness of problems affecting your communities, and enrich your life through participation in civic, political or community activity.

Our Office of Student Conduct (OSC) fosters ethical standards and engaged citizens by providing services and protecting the community from disruption and harm. Students can participate in various educational and leadership opportunities through OSC.

New Student Orientation (NSO) facilitates comprehensive orientation programming for all first year and transfer undergraduate students and their families; and offers extended orientation and transition programs including Summit, an outdoor orientation experience, and 1743 Welcome Days.

All Student Life units facilitate critical development within this learning outcome.
