UDance

UDance is a 12 hour dance marathon that takes place in March on UD’s campus that supports the B+ Foundation. B+ works to provide financial and emotional support to families of children with cancer and fund childhood cancer research. UD and the B+ foundation have teamed up to match B+ heroes to different organizations on campus. Our chapter of Phi Sigma Pi was lucky enough to have been given Evan Nickle. Evan was born June 18, 2004. At age three, he was diagnosed with Rhabdomyosarcoma. After months of chemotherapy and a stem cell transplant, Evan received his final treatment in September of 2008. He is now 11 years old!  Evan, a boy scout, Ravens fan, and minecraft lover will now be entering middle school this fall. Our chapter of PSP engages in many activities with Evan and his family throughout the school year, some of his favorites including babysitting with the brothers, a Pumpkin Chunkin event in the Nickles backyard, apple picking at Milburn Orchards, and much more. Our brothers adore Evan, and we love being able to provide support to his wonderful family! Each year, our chapter creates a UDance team to raise money for the B+ foundation. In 2015, PSP at UD raised over $10,000 for the cause! To help our team beat this goal, you can click the link below to donate!
