The following positions are available for the 2012-2013 school year:

President
  •  Delegates duties to other board members and a general spokesperson for the club. Should know how to do the job of all other board members in the case of an undesirable situation.
  •  Attends all board and group meetings (unless an undesirable situation arises.) Actively participates in all meetings and contributes ideas into the conversation.
  •  Attends semester event and/or fundraising events (i.e. MS Walk and raising money for MS Walk.)
Vice President
  • Helps president with executive decisions and will take over the presidential position should the president be unable to. This means that the Vice President should also know how to do the job of all other board members.
  • Attends all board and group meetings (unless an undesirable situation arises.) Actively participates in all meetings and contributes ideas into the conversation.
  • Attends semester event and/or fundraising events (i.e. MS Walk and raising money for MS Walk.)
Secretary
  • Attends meetings and takes copious notes to send to those unable to attend meetings. Responsible for sending out minutes within a day of the meeting.
  • Attends all board and group meetings (unless an undesirable situation arises.) Actively participates in all meetings and contributes ideas into the conversation.
  • Attends semester event and/or fundraising events (i.e. MS Walk and raising money for MS Walk.)
Public Relations Officer
  • Contacts affiliations and persons outside of the group to organize events and fundraisers (restaurants, for example). Books rooms and booths for events as well.
  • Regularly checks udprepharmacy email and responds or forwards the email to someone who will be better able to answer the question.
  • Attends all board and group meetings (unless an undesirable situation arises.) Actively participates in all meetings and contributes ideas into the conversation.
  • Attends semester event and/or fundraising events (i.e. MS Walk and raising money for MS Walk.)
Historian
  • Attends and takes pictures of meetings and events. Compiles all this information into an eye catching scrapbook that summarizes the years events and functions.
  • Attends all board and group meetings (unless an undesirable situation arises.) Actively participates in all meetings and contributes ideas into the conversation.
  • Attends semester event and/or fundraising events (i.e. MS Walk and raising money for MS Walk.)
Webmaster
  • Keeps up with the website and updates the website regularly with events and information about meetings.
  • Attends all board and group meetings (unless an undesirable situation arises.) Actively participates in all meetings and contributes ideas into the conversation.
  • Attends semester event and/or fundraising events (i.e. MS Walk and raising money for MS Walk.)
Treasurer 
  • - Responsible for ensuring that club funds are are being used appropriately and in the best interest of the PPS members. Keeps accurate records of money spent and deposit money into the PPS bank account.
  • -Provide reimbursement (with PPS money) for members who spent their own money for the PPS in a reasonable amount of time.
  • Attends all board and group meetings (unless an undesirable situation arises.) Actively participates in all meetings and contributes ideas into the conversation.
  • Attends semester event and/or fundraising events (i.e. MS Walk and raising money for MS Walk.)

Please send Vanessa Carranza (carranza@udel.edu) an email back by next Monday, April 23rd expressing interest. Provide your year (Freshman, Sophomore, etc,) major, and the all positions you are interested in (even if you are OK with anyone of them) in order of preference.

General Meeting on April 12th!

Kaplan and the UD Career Services have teamed up to offer FREE practice tests to all UD students. There will be practice tests for the MCAT, LSAT, and GRE on March 3rd in Smith Hall.

For those interested in the GMAT, DAT, OAT or PCAT you will be able to enroll in one of the many online practice test events that we have scheduled.

Kaplan will be donating $0.50 to UDance for everyone who registers for an online practice test!
