Previous Institution Info: After his bachelors he joined the State Key Laboratory of Heavy Oil Processing at the China University of Petroluem as a candidate for a Master’s Degree and he thereafter directly transferred to PhD candidacy after two years, under the supervision of Professor Suoqi Zhao.
Current Info: From November 2012, he is a 1-year visiting scholar at the University of Delaware Energy Institute, working with Professor Michael T. Klein.

Current Research: Linzhou has been working on the characterization of molecules and their aggregates in heavy oil feedstock and its supercritical fractions. He is now working with Klein group to develop molecular level composition and reaction/separation model for heavy petroleum resid.
