I am a Data Scientist (and Data Science Manager) at Elsevier (PA, USA), applying Artificial Intelligence to develop Advanced Clinical Decision Support (ACDS) tools and solutions for personalized medicine.

Prior to my entry in the industry, I was a computational, systems biologist at Delaware Biotechnology Institute working on multiple research projects with leading research institutes including Stanford, Harvard, UPenn, and more. My PhD. research focused on developing advanced data- and evidence- methods for human diseases gene discovery, studied non-coding RNA pathways and mechanism and developed tools for NGS data analysis, integration and interpretation. My work is highly cited by international researchers across the globe.

Before joining Meyers Lab (c. 2011) as a doctoral student, I worked as Technology Officer and Senior Research Fellow at two National Genome Research Institutes (Delhi, India). Here, I developed in vivo host-mediated gene silencing technology which fulfilled the objectives for USD > 5M World Bank-funded project. Govt of India filed two patents from my work. Also, later as a Technology officer, I supervised institute-wide bioinformatic projects.

Please see my research and publications page for more information. For awards, applied patents and detailed information on my skill set, please see my CV
