When calling or emailing an advisor, please include full name, UDID, and contact information.
  • Make a list of questions and points to discuss before the appointment
  • If you are meeting to discuss registration: review your degree audit for missing requirements, registration information; and outline the courses you are considering
  • If you are meeting to discuss graduate school preparation: research programs of interest, including pre-requisite and admissions requirements
  • Access the Scheduling System via UDSIS.
    • Log in to UDSIS
    • Click menu icon on top left to open menu options
    • Click Self Service, then UD Appointments Sign Up
    • Select Department Calendar: click magnifying glass, choose Academic Advising
    • Select Appointment Reason: click magnifying glass, click Look Up, choose appropriate appointment reason
    • Assigned Advisors: click magnifying glass, choose your advisor
    • Scroll through available appointments, click the “Schedule” button next to desired appointment time
    • A pop-up box will appear stating that a confirmation email has been sent to you
    • Review your email for appointment details, such as date and time
  • Canceling an Appointment
    • In Menu, click Self Service, then click UD Appointments Signup
    • Choose Scheduled Appointments tab
    • Click cancel next to appointment time you wish to cancel
    • A pop-up box will appear stating a confirmation email was sent
