The Hast Lab focuses on addressing complex biomechanical and clinical challenges in orthopedics through innovative research. We investigate implant design and fixation, explore the potential of additive manufacturing for personalized and adaptive solutions, and leverage computational models to predict implant performance. Additionally, we study the mechanics of tendons and ligaments to advance understanding of soft tissue repair and regeneration, driving improvements in patient care and surgical outcomes.
