Housing Fees

Rittenhouse Station Living/Learning Community

Live with an American student in these beautiful, state-of-the-art
off-campus apartments!

This housing choice is required of all students in the Conditional Admissions Program (CAP/Pre-CAP) unless the student wishes to live with an American family in our homestay program. Please see our CAP Housing Requirement for more information.

Price for one session (two months) until August 22, 2014: $2,000

Includes all utilities (cable, electricity, internet, etc.), amenities, and special cultural programming for students.

 

Homestay

Note:

  • The prices listed above are valid until August 2013. Prices subject to change at any time without notice.
  • Prices listed are for each ELI session. Each session lasts 7-8 weeks (approximately 2 months).
  • A $250 homestay placement fee is required when the student submits a homestay reservation form.
  • Students who transfer from one homestay to another must pay a transfer fee of $100.
  • All students are required to pay a deposit of $250 to their homestay families. Their families will refund the deposit when the student moves out if his/her accommodations are left in good condition.

Studio Green Apartments

There are several different apartment formats at Studio Green, and each has a different price. The following tables shows the price for each apartment type for each two-month session.

Prices until August 23, 2013:

2 bedrooms – renovated (2 students per apartment) $1,600
Family unit (2 bedrooms) $2,200

 

Prices from August 24, 2013 to August 22, 2014:

1 bedroom (1 student per apartment) $1,875
2 bedrooms (2 students per apartment) $1,475
2 bedrooms – renovated (2 students per apartment) $1,675
Family unit (2 bedrooms) $2,425

 

Notes:

  • Prices listed are for each ELI session (7-8 weeks).
  • Prices include a $25 rental insurance fee.
  • A deposit of $250 must also be paid ($500 for family units); however, it will be returned to the student after he/she moves out if the apartment is left clean and in good condition.
  • All students who have chosen Studio Green must select an apartment format. If you do not select an apartment format, then we will automatically place you in whichever housing option is available and you will be held responsible for the price.

West Knoll is proud to offer several types of apartments, which can accommodate many needs for ELI students (whether the student needs more privacy or more space for a family).

Important Notes:

  • Prices listed are for each ELI session (7-8 weeks).
  • All students in each apartment are required to pay a deposit of $250. For a family unit, the deposit is $500.
  • Electricity is included in the rent price up to a maximum of $65 per month. If more than $65 of electricity is used each month, the student is responsible for paying all fees above $65.
