Important Housing Information

1. Homestay. By selecting this option:

I agree to the terms and conditions listed on the ELI web site.
I understand that I must contact the Homestay Coordinator, Nancy Purcell (rtp3@aol.com), to request a homestay application.
I understand that a placement fee of $170, payable to Nancy Purcell, will be charged after I submit my homestay application, and that the homestay placement fee is not refundable.
I understand that this agreement will not be effective until I receive written confirmation of my accommodations from Mrs. Purcell.

3. Studio Green Apartments. By selecting this option:

I understand that I must pay deposit of $250 Studio Green Apartments when I arrive.
I understand this agreement will not be effective until I receive written confirmation of my apartment accommodations from the ELI.

4. INNternationale. By selecting this option:

I understand that the ELI will not make this reservation for me and that I must reserve my room at the INNternationale by visiting their website.

Application Fee and Tuition Deposit

The ELI requires an application fee (US $100) and tuition deposit (US $75). These fees are due with your application--your application will not be processed until we receive these fees.

The application fee is non-refundable. The tuition deposit is only refundable if the ELI is notified in writing of your cancelation more than 30 days before your session start date.

To pay the application fee and tuition deposit, you must download our Credit Card Authorization Form. Complete the form and send it to us by fax at +1-302-831-6765.

Terms and Conditions and Signature

By submitting this form to the ELI:

I certify that the information submitted via this application is correct.
I certify that I am registering for this program and that I am responsible for meeting all costs associated with the program.
I give the ELI permission to report my progress updates and transcripts to my sponsor (if applicable).
I understand that, if I cancel my enrollment more than 30 days before my session start date, I will be eligible for a refund of the $75 tuition deposit (less the $35 express mail fee, making the total refund $40). I understand that I will not be eligible for a refund of my tuition deposit until I return my I-20 form (or DS-2019 form) to the ELI.
I understand that the ELI will not defer my start date more than 2 times; if I attempt to change my start date a third time, the ELI will cancel my admission.
I understand that, if I enter the United States using the ELI's I-20 form and then I fail to enroll at the ELI (example: if I transfer to a different school without attending at least 1 session at the ELI), I will be charged a $300 Early Withdrawal Administration Fee.
