Dear Saudi students and alumni,
Please accept my deepest, heart-felt sympathy for the death of your king. He was a great man who brought stability and affluence to your wonderful country. He was also a visionary leader who believed strongly in educating the next generation of Saudi professionals and leaders. Many of you are studying today on scholarships funded by the Royal Saudi government through programs begun by King Abdullah. To Allah, your great King belongs, and to Allah he returns. May he rest in paradise. May God grant you peace as you mourn the loss of your beloved king.
