Tomorrow, ELI students, faculty, and staff will wear blue clothing in order to show support for the City of Boston and to express solidarity for Bostonians in the wake of yesterday’s tragedy at the Boston Marathon.
Blue and gold are the colors that many marathon runners and the marathon staff wear during the event.
At 12:05 pm, ELI students and personnel will walk to Memorial Hall at the center of the University of Delaware campus to express support for all those affected by these events, as well as to recognize the incredible work done by the first responders who leant their assistance at the Marathon.
All are welcome to join the ELI in this activity tomorrow.
