Welcome to Delaware Agriculture Week 2017

Dear Agricultural Producer,

Please mark your calendars for Delaware Agriculture Week, January 9-12, 2017. We are excited that this will be the 12th year for Delaware “Ag Week.” This event is a collaboration between University of Delaware Cooperative Extension, Delaware State University Cooperative Extension, and the Delaware Department of Agriculture.

Delaware Ag Week provides useful and timely information to the agricultural community and industry through educational meetings and events. In addition, it is a great time for networking and fellowship with old and new acquaintances. There will be many opportunities to receive nutrient management, pesticide and certified crop advisor continuing education credits.

During Ag Week, there will be a wide variety of great sessions, exhibits and activities. Our session committees have once again pulled together great topics and speakers. This year, Ag Week will begin on Monday afternoon with the Poultry session. Please take a look through the Delaware Ag Week Program Book and make note of the sessions for this year as well as upcoming meetings and events. Events that require pre-registration are listed on page 3 in the Ag Week program. For all other events, no pre-registration is required.

The main meeting area will be located in the Exhibit Hall again this year. A great Trade Show will take place in the Dover Building. Please take the time to visit with exhibitors. Their support of Delaware Ag Week is vital to the success of this event!

Ag Week activities will not be canceled due to inclement weather unless a state of emergency is declared by the Governor. Please refer to this website or contact your County Extension Office listed below with questions you may have regarding Ag Week.
