Crisis help

The CRC does not provide crisis services. If you are experiencing a crisis, please use the following resources.

For emergencies during regular business hours, we recommend that you contact the Center for Counseling and Student Development at 302-831-2141. However, if you prefer, you may instead call UD Helpline, 24/7/365 at 302-831-1001, during business hours and in the evening.

  • In the event you are calling to connect with an S.O.S. Victim Advocate related to sexual misconduct, press prompt 1.
  • If you are calling to connect with a counselor, press prompt 2.

In case of dire emergency involving the safety of someone, University Police should be contacted.

If calling from on-campus, dial: 911
If calling from off-campus, dial: 302-831-2222

The Center for Counseling and Student Development may then be asked to provide assistance once immediate safety is secured.
