International Overdose Awareness Day

August 31, 2017
7:00 pm - 11:00 pm

Each year we lose thousands of people from drug overdose globally. Some survive but suffer a permanent injury, with devastating impact to their families and friends. International Overdose Awareness Day provides an opportunity for us to reflect on practical ways to prevent overdose in our community. Overdose is preventable. Knowing the real facts about drugs and what to do when you see someone experiencing an overdose DOES save lives.

At the corner of North College Ave and Main St the CRC along with AtTAcK Addiction will be hosting a candlelight vigil. We will also have information about resources available for those in recovery here at UD and information about overdose prevention, amnesty at UD, and the Delaware 911 Good Samaritan Law.
