CI Hosts Events for UD’s Int’l Education Week

In collaboration with the Office of Residence Life, the English Learning Institute and the Institute for Global Studies, the Confucius Institute is organizing series of events for the International Education Week next week from Nov. 12 to 16. We will have a week-long photo gallery of China in the CI building and series of lectures. We welcome all students and friends to join our programs.

  • Gallery of China: Tradition and Transformation: Confucius Institute at 121 E Delaware Ave. (9:00 am to 5:00pm)
  • Lecture: Buddhism and the Modern World
    Speaker: Dr. Maria Tu, Assistant Professor of Chinese Studies
    3:30-4:30pm, Elliott Hall Conference Room

Tues. Nov. 13th

  • Gallery of China: Tradition and Transformation: Confucius Institute at 121 E Delaware Ave. (9:00 am to 5:00pm)
  • Lecture: Nobel Laureate Mo Yan and China’s Magic Realism
    Speaker: Dr. Jianguo Chen, Director of the Confucius Institute
