MS Human Nutrition (May 2018)
Melanie recently joined the research team as a new graduate student and is working as the primary research assistant in Dr. Chai’s lab. She will lead recruitment activities and participant study visits in the current GRAPE intervention study.
Melanie graduated from the University of Delaware in May 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics. She is now continuing her studies at the University of Delaware to receive her Master’s in Human Nutrition. She is expected to graduate in May of 2018. Following graduation, she plans to then complete her dietetic internship and eventually become a registered dietitian.
MS Human Nutrition
Kristina worked as the primary research assistant in Dr. Chai’s lab for two years from 2014-2016. She played an active role in all aspects of both the CHERRY and GRAPE clinical trials.
Kristina graduated with her Master’s in Human Nutrition in May 2016. Throughout her Master’s program, Kristina has been awarded with the University of Delaware’s Professional Development Award and the Arlette I Rasmussen Award. She has also presented her research findings at the Experimental Biology 2016 Conference in San Diego California. Following graduation, she will be completing the dietetic internship with Iowa State University.
