American Apostles: A look at missionary work in Islamic countries

This week on Campus Voices, we spoke with Christine Heyrman, history professor at the University of Delaware. Heyrman talked with us about her newest publication American Apostles, a book about the history of Evangelical missionary involvement in the Middle East.  Her book was inspired by the September 11th attacks and the responses from American Evangelicals.

Christine Heyrman is a professor at the University of Delaware specializing in American History. She has been recognized as a Robert W. and Shirley P. Grimble Professor of American History. Heyrman started her collegiate experience with no real direction of a major, but her fascination with American history resulted in a life long career.
