Chen Guo
Bio: Chen grew up in Xi’an, China and got her Bachelor’s degree in Polymer Science and Engineering at Tsinghua University in Beijing, China. She received her PhD degree in Chemical Engineering from Colorado State University. Her prior research was focused on the development of a modular tethered-micelle hydrogel system using restructured block copolymer melts.
Research Interests: Chen’s research interests include hydrogels, nano-structured materials, and tissue engineering. Her current work involves the development of soft tissue mimicking hydrogels with controlled properties to study the extracellular matrix signals for fibrosis.
Fun Facts: In her spare time, Chen enjoys cooking and watching movies.
