The Office of Equity and Inclusion wishes to cordially invites the African Heritage Caucus to join us on an adventure to Washington, DC on Saturday, November 5, 2011. There, we will begin at the National Museum of Natural History to view the exhibit, “Race: Are We So Different”.   UD Employees $25 and Non-UD employees $40.

Long appreciated for its diversity, Washington, D.C. is a great city to explore different cultures and history. This adventure is at your own pace, so bring your sneakers, your camera, and pick sites and exhibits that strike your fancy and join us as we visit DC from a multicultural perspective. We will begin at the National Museum of Natural History to view the exhibit, Race: Are We So Different? that tell the stories of race from the biological, cultural, and historical points of view. Participants will receive a ‘passport’ of suggested exhibits that are located in several Smithsonian Institute Museums and Memorials around the National Mall.
