Mary Louisa Harding Carter “Sis”, age 69, departed this life Saturday, October 9, 2010, at her residence. She is survived by 4 children, 1 step-daughter, 2 brothers, 3 sisters, 11 grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren. A longtime employee of the University of Delaware, “Ms. Mary” as she was known to most, retired after over 20 years of service.
Funeral 11 am Saturday, October 16, 2010, at Pilgrim Baptist Church, 1325 Barksdale Road, Newark, DE. Viewing 9-10:45 am only. Burial, Greenhill Cemetery, in Delaware City, Delaware.
