It’s a distinct honor for the Delaware Geological Survey to host the AASG’s 110th Annual Meeting. Our event garners national attention for both AASG and our sponsors. The AASG acknowledges the generous contributions of the following organizations without whose support this meeting would not have been possible.

The AASG is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization that represents the chief executives of the geological survey agencies from the 50 U.S. states and Puerto Rico. The Delaware Geological Survey has not hosted the Annual Meeting since 1978, and we are looking forward to a successful and productive event. Our four-day meeting includes technical sessions, field trips, and keynote addresses by invited speakers from across the realm of science, energy, environment, and policy. Keynote speakers often include congressmen, senior congressional staff, leaders in industry and non-profits sectors, and federal agency executives.

The theme of this year’s conference is: Applied Geoscience for a Changing Planet. As a sponsor, you will have the opportunity to partner with AASG to support our efforts to bring state, federal, and non-profit geoscience organizations together to develop programs and initiatives to address issues that include:

• Coastal hazard mitigation and sand replenishment

Having objective geoscience information available to government agencies, policy makers, engineering and environmental consultants, banks, insurance agencies, legal firms, non-profit organizations, utilities, and partners in industry is within the mission of state geological surveys. As a sponsor for the AASG Annual Meeting, you will provide your organization with visibility and name recognition to state and national leaders and experts. You will also have an opportunity to meet and support the directors of the 50 state geological surveys, which provide the basic geoscience information that is used by state and federal environmental, regulatory, natural resource, and emergency management agencies.

Each sponsorship level has commensurate opportunities for signage, website presence, ads in our programs, and complimentary registrations so you can learn more about state survey perspectives on issues important to you, and interact with top geologists from across the country.
